Greece is one of the oldest olive growing countries in the world. Quality olive oil, like wine, varies from year to year and depends on many factors. That's why our mission and goal is to produce high quality olive oil with every harvest and make it available to our customers. Every country and every place has its own history and its own varieties of olives that naturally evolved in that place. We now welcome you to the Halkidiki Peninsula, the birthplace of the world-famous green Halkidiki olive. 80% of the population of Halkidiki is involved in the cultivation and products of olives. Our village, Metaggitsi, is the olive oil village on Halkidiki Peninsula, known for its olive oil production. For generations, the village has been largely concerned with its native olive variety “Galani”, which is used to produce olive oil. Get to know us and our olive village! Whether you are a connoisseur or a non-connoisseur of olive oil, we are happy to pass on our experience and knowledge to you through our tasting seminar and bring you closer to this love of nature and the olive tree. How do I recognize a quality olive oil, what are its characteristics? Are there differences between olive oils? Is olive oil healthy? Which oil should I use in my kitchen? What should I consider when purchasing? After our approximately 2-hour olive oil seminar with tasting in the middle of our small olive grove, you will get to know our high-quality olive oil from the region and will be able to answer these and other questions for yourself. Drinks and cold traditional dishes with our olive oil are available to you during our seminar. After taking part in our seminar, you will receive a certificate of participation from us as a souvenir and our brochure with all the information for reference.
