National Park Galicica

Macedonia is a splendid country with various tourist destinations which make it attractive during the whole year. One of those destinations is the beautiful National Park Galicica which is situated in the south-west part of Macedonia and it is part of the mountain which bears the same name - Galichica.
The park is proclaimed as a National Park in 1958, since then until today it is definitely one of the most visited places in Macedonia. It occupies an area of 227 km2 and it is perfectly located between the Ohrid Lake and Prespa Lake. Its perfect location is the main reason why the number of tourists constantly grows each day.
