Directions to Gevgelija Museum
A town which has long history and rich culture must possess a place where evidences and examples of the rich history will be preserved and displayed. Gevgelija is a beautiful town with many significant buildings and places that need to be seen. The Museum of Gevgelija is one of them and you will not regret that visit ever.
The Museum is located on the well-known street Marshal Tito, which connects the Central Square with the Railway Station. It was built in 1906 and it is an example of beautiful architectural style which is still preserved today. If you decide to visit the Museum you will be impressed by the archaeological collection which today counts more than 4500 items. All of these items are copied and can be found as souvenirs in the store which is situated within the Museum. Also, there are two more stores Gortinija I Taurijana, one located in Dojran and the other one near the border of Macedonia and Greece. The souvenirs can serve as an ideal present for your close friends or relatives, as well as a beautiful memory of visiting this historically rich town.
