Etno Luks

Etno Luks is a small countryside retreat in Crvulevo, North Macedonia, at the foot of Plačkovica mountain and about an hour from Skopje. A stream passes through the grounds, with birdsong, village scenery and a slower pace shaping the setting. Etno Luks also has a restaurant that prepares food for resident guests rather than operating as a conventional walk-in dining room. The cooking follows the seasons and uses ingredients sourced from nearby villages, with village bread and local eggs among the familiar touches. The overall style is homemade and informal, with the kitchen forming part of the experience of staying in a rural household.

Wellness facilities include a wood-fired Russian banya and an outdoor wood-heated jacuzzi. The banya is designed as a traditional bathing ritual rather than a standard sauna, while the jacuzzi is set beneath the open sky.
