The Popov Winery is an outstanding family-owned winery located in Sopot, near the town of Kavadarci, in the heart of Tikvesh, the finest grape-growing region in Macedonia and the whole Balkans. The Popov Winery owns 20 hectares of carefully selected and cultivated vineyard where grapes are ripened under ideal conditions. The wines have the beautiful balance of fruit and floral aromas which is characteristic of their varieties and region. An annual production level between 150,000 and 200,000 bottles enables the maintenance of strict quality control in all stages of the process. Maturing in small oak barrels gains the wine higher quality within few years. Served in an appropriate glass, Popov Winery wines need only a few moments to give out their wonderful aromas and show their best qualities.
